We’re catching up again here on the blog today, this time with Troy and Shelby’s beach wedding. We started off a little worried that it was going to rain, but it actually turned out to be an absolutely perfect day with beautiful blue skies. We met up with the groom first where we took photos of him and his family. Then we were off to meet up with the bride and their daughter to get some nice photos of them getting ready. The ceremony was held on Cocoa Beach where there were a lot of eager guests huddling under a couple of tents trying to stay out of the extremely bright sun. We were tight on time because the bride and groom were catching a cruise ship soon after the wedding ceremony so we had to squeeze in as many poses as we could in a very small window of opportunity. The couple was up for anything which made my job easier and I shot away a variety of different poses in about a 15 minute window before they had to run and catch their cruise ship honeymoon with their whole family. I certainly enjoyed photographing their special day and I think we gave them some really great photos that they will be able to cherish forever in their wedding album.
