July 11th was an awesome day to be an Orlando Wedding Photographer at the Lake Mary Events Center because it was 7 Eleven day, otherwise known as free slurpee day!!! Ashmia and Chris chose that day to get married for just that reason! Who wouldn’t want to get married on free slurpee day? Now they can go get a free treat every year on their anniversary as a fun little reminder of their special day. It was a perfect plan! It was also perfect that there were 7 Elevens on almost every corner near the venue, so I knew I could get a fun shot before the night was over. Their whole wedding day was held at the Lake Mary Events Center, which is an absolutely gorgeous place to get married. I already can’t wait to photograph there again and I will definitely be promoting them as one of my new favorite venues. The venue has it all, from a bridal and groom suite, multiple places to hold the ceremony either inside or outside, a beautiful ballroom and many outside areas which are perfect for photographing. The whole wedding day was coordinated by Cherish Events of Orlando. Flowers were provided by Country Club Florist. Tables were designed by Cherish Events and Country Club Florist. Chairs for the event were provided by A Chair Affair. Videography was by CC Video Productions. The violinist was from Strings, Etc. The cake was made by It’s Tasty Too. The candy buffet was by Florida Candy Buffets. The photobooth was Our Photobooth Rocks. The entertainment and gorgeous ballroom design was provided by Sophisticated Gents Entertainment and Event Design. Looking back, I am super proud to have worked with such a classy group of professionals that made Ashmia and Chris’ day so great. I just wish the rain would have held off, but I guess you can’t have it all. 🙂
Ashmia and Chris are a wonderful couple and I am so glad that they chose me to be apart of their special day. I have so many great photos throughout the day that I will eventually post but in the meantime here is a sneak peek at a few of my favorites so far.
